Applications are now being accepted for the Superintendent’s position

at the Washington State School for the Blind (WSSB). Dean Stenehjem,

long-time Superintendent of WSSB, is retiring at the end of this school

year. Dean has made many improvement in the education of blind children

at the school and across the state of Washington. It is critical that the

next Superintendent be someone who carries forward WSSB’s strong STEM

programs and its’ strong philosophy of the capabilities of blind

children.<br><br>
