<p>There is a whole section in the music code specific to percussion. You can get the music code as a pdf from the library of congress. From there the music teacher can have access to the specific section, and with a little direction from the TBS/TVI should
be able to make sense of the notation and braille equivalence.</p>

<p>HI all, </p>

<p>I have another music question (2 in a week!). I have a student learning percussion--currently his teacher uses pre-recorded tracks for his learning of the pieces, but I wanted to allow him to learn some theory as well (just as the sighted kids do).</p>
<p><br>

<p>The music teacher is interested in learning the music Braille for time signature and notes/rests at this point. Is there a different 'code' given that drums do not use melody? Does anyone have the encoding for these basics that I could access to make them
a set of teaching tools (flashcards, etc). </p>
