<b>CALL FOR TEACHER OF BLIND/LOW VISION STUDENTS<br>
</b>The National Federation of the Blind of Illinois (NFBI) seeks a
certified teacher of blind/low vision students to serve as co-teacher in
our 2022 summer BELL® Academy (Braille Enrichment for Literacy and
Learning). NFBI will host two BELL Academies this summer, a two-week day
program in Chicago and a week-long residential program in
Springfield.<br>
<br>
<b>RESPONSIBILITIES<br>
</b>The co-teacher will:<br>
· Work with blind/low
vision children ages four to twelve and their parents<br>
· Plan lessons and
activities based on the BELL curriculum<br>
· Incorporate blind
volunteers into the daily program<br>
· Conduct twice weekly
field trips<br>
· Complete a detailed
evaluation at the close of the program<br>
<br>
Dates: Chicago BELL, July 18-July 29, 2022<br>
Springfield BELL: August 1-August 5, 2022<br>
Salary: $4,000<br>
