That’s even more true for those of us who are blind and visually impaired, because with every passing update comes a change in how an app, a Web site, or an entire operating system works with our assistive technology. On top of it all, there’s Braille—that efficient six-dot system that keeps blind people literate, but is so seldom taught. So, if you’re blind or have low vision, how do you thrive in the Information Age when there’s so much to learn and so few who know how to teach it?
