The cartridge from ILA is $14. You can get a bundle with the cartridge and a USB cable for $17.95; I think the cable is specifically for the Booksense, which means it will have a mini USB connector on the other end; I'll know tomorrow when mine comes.
Yes. Thumb drives, any will do, are cheap. About $2 or less per gb.
