thank you, Curtis and Dave. A disadvantage of the Stream is the built-in battery. My original BookPort uses 2 double-As, so if it runs down while traveling I can easily swap in another pair. Does the BookPPort+ also use stand ard batteries? Thanks, Ed Meskys
