As others have pointed out, the batteries on all these devices are removable
-- at least most of them are, not sure about book sense, but they are
specific to that device.  You could buy a 2nd battery and switch it.  The
time on stream battery is around 15 hours I think, somewhat less for other
two as they are smaller devices with somewhat smaller batteries.

BP and BS can also be charged from USB charger or port.

thank you, Curtis and Dave. A disadvantage of the Stream is the built-in
battery. My original BookPort uses 2 double-As, so if it runs down while
traveling I can easily swap in another pair. Does the BookPPort+ also use
stand ard batteries? Thanks, Ed Meskys
