Does anyone know if it is possible to use a Braille Note or maybe an Apex to
get exact reproductions of contractions done by a scanner? I am wondering
if I could do braille proofreading with complete accuracy using the Braille
Note, perhaps with some conversion of files. So far I have not gotten a
positive answer on this. I am thinking that when I am reading in Grade 2
braille the Braille Note translator can make some changes, especially if I
do not have the 40 cell version. I have the 18 cell, so, for example, if
the word "to" appears at the end of my braille line, it will appear in Grade
1.

Are there other braille displays that would be more precise with files that
are sent to me for proofreading?

Thanks for any help with this question.
