I encourage y'all to watch Andre Louis' video. He has a nice interview with Ed Rogers, and you even get to hear the Canute in action. Admittedly, the current refresh rate is slow, but they intend on improving that, and they also intend that the first lines will refresh first, so that one can start reading while the other lines fill in, making the slower refresh rate less of an issue. 

Developments like this and like Braigo from our friend Shubham Bannerjee (http://www.braigolabs.com) are really exciting and definitely bear watching.
