David, I thought the same. I wondered if there was meaningful dialogue from
the manufacturers or if they are getting basically a "take it or leave it"
standard from the large IT companies named.

I did see this yesterday -- and the one thing I noticed was there was no
mention of Braille display manufacturers at all. Without them -- the
standard is pretty empty!
