"Blind man hopes driver who hit him is punished"

Apparently the drunk driver of a jeep drove up on to the sidewalk to pin Mr. Larkin against a light pole. Subsequent comments to this article report this is an audio equipped crosswalk and Mr. Larkin was on the sidewalk. Reports are the drunk driver is being held on $500,000 bail.
