Thanks Jane for your response.  Our findings are pretty much what you
stated, but its good to have the conformation. In my opinion access is
not just whether the speech program will read the screen or not, but
also if the application can be operated efficiently.  Productivity is
important.

Run for your life!  Jaws will read the screen for you but the program
itself is cumbersome, unwieldy and annoying.  Unless the people
governing the structure of the program are jaws users, and even if they
are, the links and layers can be labyrinthine.  Straight servers are
much easier to use with shared files.
