In most states you need a Master's Degree in rehabilitation counsling, but
not in all. I don't think you need one in Iowa, and I'm not sure of
Nebraska. There might be others. In Minnesota you can have another
counseling Master's Degree, but you must have taken Medical Aspects of
Disability, and psychosocial aspects of disability of you don't have the
Master's Degree in Rehabilitation counseling.

Subject: [rehab] education and certification
What are the educational requirements for the field? I am legally blind and
desire to serve others who are blind and visually impaired. I have a four
year degree in writing and eight years as an admin assistant. I love my job
but dont see myself at a desk the rest of my life Any advise would help.
