Minds Eye Information Service is a radio ministry at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows in Belleville, IL. This ministry serves people who are blind and print-handicapped within a 75 mile radius.

Currently, we have a part-time job opening as a radio control board operator, Monday thru Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Part-time Control Board Operator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Operates radio control board and may use CD's, live voice and WireReady computer controlled programming.
2. Operates and supervises the broadcast facility and monitors broadcasts.
3. Provides volunteers access to the building and assists volunteers instructing proper technique and equipment operation.
4. Opens and closes station as necessary; must be comfortable working alone.
5. Edits programs for radio and web broadcast.
6. Answers telephone.
7. Regularly uses computer to download and upload programs.
