Greetings,

We are recruiting for two Rehab Teachers at our Orientation Center in Alamogordo. Duties of these positions include but are not limited to instruction in the following areas: Orientation and Mobility, Personal Management, Technology, Adaptive Equipment, Braille, Home Management and/ or Industrial Arts. A link to the job posting and the text of the posting are provided below. Please forward this announcement to qualified individuals that might be interested in working at our training center. The closing date is May 11. Potential applicants should contact Mr. Adelmo Vigil, Interim Director, Adult Orientation Center, at 575.437.0401, Adelmo.Vigil at state.nm.us, if they would like to discuss the positions. I am using the functional title Rehab Teacher in this email message because it describes the position more accurately than the formal job title of Health Educator, which is used because the job title Rehab Teacher is not available in State Personnel Office guidelines.
