Hurry, get yourself preregistered so you don't miss your chance to participate in the Awards Ceremony of the NBPCB. This year will be bigger and better than ever in Orlando!

You must preregister by June 27 if you want to be guaranteed a seat at the banquet. For those who register on-site, banquet tickets will be limited and will be provided to registrants on a first come, first served basis.

The agenda will run from 8:30 a.m through 7:00 p.m. Events will include the annual NBPCB Awards Banquet from 12:00—2:00 p.m., and the Mix and Mingle Reception, from 5:00—7:00 p.m.  

 

This year’s Keynote address will be delivered by Dr. Allan Dodds of Nottingham, England. Dr. Dodds was instrumental in helping to coin the phrase “Structured Discovery Cane Travel” (SDCT)™.  

 

Garett A. Holm, President of the Academy for Certification of Vision Rehabilitation and Education Professionals (ACVREP), will also deliver an address  on the nature of certification, licensure, and accreditation. 

 

In addition, the agenda will be action packed with information for center and agency directors, orientation and mobility instructors, transition and youth service coordinators, and other professionals interested in work with the blind.  the agenda is now available online at the registration URL. Preregistration is now available!

 

Registration cost is $100 for Professionals and $75 for students, and includes coffee during registration, the awards banquet and the reception immediately following adjournment.
