[rehab] Justification concerning the purchose of a mac

Macs cost a good deal more than PC's so I'd make sure she adds up her numbers and if its cheaper than a laptop with JFW on it then use that as part of her argument. What about an Ipad with a wireless keyboard? It depends on what her uses are for it. If she needs a full computer then it wouldn't work but if she's needing something with portable internet and the ability to take notes in class, then it might work.

Dear List, Their is a young lady who is on another list I'm on, and she wants rehab to purchose a Mac computer for her. Her justification is that the mac includes voice over, and being a client of our rehabilitation program here in Florida, this to me doesn't sound like a verry strong justification. Does rehab purchose Mac's for clients, and what would make the purchose of a mac more feasible than the purchose than a lap top running windows? RJ _______________________________________________
