>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
>Develops and implements individualized programs of rehabilitation 
>services for blind and visually impaired consumers in a multi-county 
>district.  Evaluates medical, vocational and personal information on 
>consumers. Manages assigned caseload including maintaining case 
>files and responding to correspondence and telephone inquiries. 
>Intercedes and advocates on behalf of the consumers to ensure 
>appropriate, timely and consistent services. Procures and/or 
>requisitions services for the consumers. Serves as a member of the 
>treatment team in the diagnostic evaluation of consumers and the 
>identification of treatment objectives.
>MINIMUM AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
>A bachelor's degree and professional experience in human services or 
>social services programs.
>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
>A Master's Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling.
>Above average knowledge of state and federal VR laws.
