- Job Title: Business Operations Specialist-Advanced 
- Full/Part Time: Full-Time
- Regular/Temporary: Regular - Permanent 
- Closing Date: January 25, 2013 
- Pay Grade: 60
- Salary: The salary range for this position is $27,664 - $49,171 per year ($13.30-$23.64 per hour). Offered salary will be based on education and experience.  
- Benefits: Full State of New Mexico benefits, including health insurance, life insurance, retirement, sick leave, annual leave, and holidays.
- Purpose of Position: Under the jurisdiction of the Federal Randolph Sheppard Act and the companion State statute, the purpose of this position will be to train and consult with blind licensed business owners in food service facilities ranging from cafeterias to vending routes.  Position will assure that the blind business owners are in compliance with State/Federal tax requirements and food safety regulations.  Position will help guide the licensed business owners in the operation of a profitable business and procurement and coordination of equipment installation and repairs.
- Minimum Education and Experience requirements: Associates Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or Accounting and two (2) years of directly related job experience in the areas of budgeting, accounting, auditing, purchasing, cash management and/or financial management. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling four (4) years may substitute for the required education and experience.
Employment Requirements: 
Must obtain and maintain ServSafe food safety certification within 6 months of employment.  Some travel is required.

kneeling, stooping, and bending for extended periods of time may be required. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
