JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under limited supervision, administers, designs, updates and monitors a comprehensive adjustment to blindness program for blind and visually impaired consumers eligible for vocational rehabilitation services. Provides proactive leadership and initiative in the development of service delivery to include orientation and mobility, curriculum development and the development of quarterly and FY goals. Submits annual budget. Assists Director of Consumer Services with overall planning and evaluation as a member of the Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) Leadership Team.
MINIMUM AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
A bachelor's degree and relevant program management experience. Agency Additional Requirements: A Master's Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) plus two years of experience in Vocational Rehabilitation and two years of supervisory experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Orientation and Mobility Certification is preferred, but not required.
