JOB TYPE: FTE - Full-Time

NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday (8:30 - 5:00)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under supervision of the Training and Employment Director, assesses physical, mental and social abilities, cognitive skills, aptitudes, limitations and tolerances of blind and visually impaired consumers as it relates to vocational goal selection.
MINIMUM AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
A Bachelor's Degree and professional experience in Human Services or Social Services programs.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
A Master's Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) preferred.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:

The Employee will be responsible for meeting all designated productivity standards in a quality manner with minimal supervision.  Travel required and occasional overnight stays.
This position requires knowledge and skill in conducting needs assessments.  The individual should have knowledge of modern casework and counseling techniques.
