[rehab] [Jobs] legitimate work from home jobs

Believe me, I know how frusterating that is to work for years going to
school getting that education, hoping that the extra time you spend in
school, will make up for that disability, and will show employers that you
are willing to go that extra mile to get ahead. I am constantly attending
training seminares, webanares, and any other activity all in an effort to
learn more about people and their disabilities.
The cost to start up a non-profit agency is not that much. The only real
cost is getting an attorney to fill out the papers and legal documents
necessary to submit to the state and the IRS, who will provide you with the
501 non profit status. What I might suggest is you ask an attorney whom you
are familiar with to also represent your board's legal counsel as a
volunteer. Every board should have an attorney as a member as there will
always be questions that require legal knowledge. It will be necessary to
create a volunteer board of directors, a President, V-President, Secretary,
Treasurer, and by-laws.These are not that difficult as long as you have a
group of people who believe in what your mission is and the best way to
approach it. Make sure you create a board of directors who are willing to
work with you and not have you doing everything. For example, members who
have knowledge of writing grants, members who are experienced in fund
raising, and who have experience in asking for donations for your program.
If you do business with state agencies, they want your agency to be CARF
accredited. However, you can serve the states on probation until you can
apply for CARF certification.
Being CARF accredited certified indicates your agency is meeting all the
challenges that might occur when providing assistance to persons with
disabilities, and this accreditation can help with getting many federal,
state and private grants.
I have considered expanding our agency to other states and probably will but
I want to employ someone in the different states to serve as that states
representative, and yes, my agency does hire persons with disabilities who
meet the education and experience requirements, and age is no factor.

Thanks Judy. Ya know what? I have wondered how this is possible. I
mean it's like teaching. Why go through the trouble of getting a
Master's degree to do something just any old Joe or ajaneQ can come
off the street and do and exact authority over another who is more
properly qualified?
Very frustrating, depressing, and discouraging.
