Hello, I want to address Judy's statement that rehabilitation counselors need to have a social work license in Idaho. This is not correct. I am a vocational rehabilitation counselor with a general caseload at IDVR. I was hired as a specialist while I completed my Master's degree. I was promoted to counselor after completing this degree. No social work license is required to work as a vocational rehabilitation counselor in Idaho. Sincerely, Deborah AllenMPA, M.Ed., CRC
