NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday (8:30 - 5:00)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide individualized home management training and instruction to consumers in their home and other designated training locations for the Vocational Rehabilitation, Older Blind, and Independent Living consumers.
MINIMUM AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
A High School Diploma and relevant program experience. A Bachelor's Degree may be submitted for the required program experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
A Master's Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling with Vocational Home Management experience.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:

Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers, consumers and the public.  Under limited supervision, must perform work independently and maintain the principles, practices and policies of the SC Commission for the Blind.

Work involves travel 2-4 days per week and occasional overnight travel may be required.
