NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday (8:30 - 5:00)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Under moderate supervision, handles multi-line switch board, greets visitors, coordinates sign-in and directs visitors to the appropriate office.  Performs clerical duties at the main reception desk of SC Commission for the Blind.
MINIMUM AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
There are no minimum training or experience requirements for this class.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Agency Preferred:
Administrative Office experience.
Experience using WORD, ACCESS and other Microsoft products.
Organized Office Manager.
Call center experience helpful.


ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:

Candidate should have knowledge of switchboard operation, excellent phone skills, knowledge of standard office practices/procedures and the ability to follow instructions.

Experience using standard office equipment.

Must be organized and able to keep a professionally arranged work area at all times.
