Adrijana, please try not to take that harsh treatment to heart. I know this is easier said than done, but there are some prejudiced people out there, no matter where you go. They are not the ones that matter. Close-minded people don't change the world. It is the open-minded people that can rock the world because they are willing to change what they do. They are willing to challenge the status quo. Keep doing what you can; every person makes a difference. Try not to let narrow-minded people discourage you. Prejudice says "don't confuse me with the facts; I've already made up my mind." Change can take a long time, but it does come if we work together. Take care.

Subject: [rehab] February "Braille monitor"
Hi all,
It seems like the February "Braille monitor" went out a few days earlier for those of us who recceive it by email. This issue was extremely comprahensive with regards to the work of the NFB and since I live in a different country than the US, I would also want to somehow put my own bit of things into the NFB. I am sure there are some very openminded people out there that receive us just as anyone else, but I am afraid to say that I have also experienced some harsh treatment online just because I live in a different country. If you think you can somehow help me improve this and make NFB members more comfortable when it comes to interacting with us, I would be glad to hear from you. I am sure there are some people here or others you know of that have traveled to different places and interact a lot with people from different parts of the world and could truly help the rest. If you would like to email me, my email address is:
