JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under limited supervision, manages a region (Region II) of the South Carolina Commission for the Blind's Vocational Rehabilitation Division.  Region II includes all of the midlands.

Provides management and training to employees in the region.  In doing so, is responsible for regional productivity goals and objectives, consumer information system data accuracy, and integrity.

Monitors and manages regional caseloads and budget.

Assists with preparation of national reporting such as the RSA - 2, 911, 722 and 113 Reports.
Works with other departments within the agency.

MINIMUM AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
A bachelor's degree and professional experience in human services or social services programs.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Agency Requirement: A Master's Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation with Certification as a Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) or a Master's in a Social Service program of study with four (4) years of rehabilitation experience and a CRC.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:

Employee must be able to lift, carry, and pull at least 10 pounds.  Travel, sometimes overnight is required.
