is seeking an experienced
and highly motivated individual to join our team as a <:on,;,,0 c Program Development
Specialist. Major duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provides computer AT assessments, one-on one training servies, and basic installation,
configuration and maintenance of equipment for clients who are blind or visually impaired.
- Conducts work station evaluations for both ILB and VR clients.
- Wrties and implements individualized program training for each client receiving services.
- Develops and maintains curriculum for compluter applications and any AT software or
hardware training.
- Completes documentation such as daily progress notes and monthly reports.
- Provides consultations for AT Best Practices, Training, and Policies
-Assists in maintaining up-to-date AT Inventory.
- Knowledge of Assistive Technology
- Skills in oral and written communications
- Ability to work cooperatively with staff in achieving client program goals.
- Ability to travel when required.
- Ability to perform other duties assigned.

-Certification or BA degree in Education, Special Education, Rehabilitation, Computer/AT Applications or equivalent technical teaching experience.
-Two years experience in computer training or two years experience in providing computer training to individuals with disabilities
-Demonstrated competency with current computer technology and AT.
-Have knowledge in Assistive Technology as documented by supporting (e.g. Bachelor or Master degree(s) in rehabilitation engineering, occupational therapy,
Information Technology or similar; or certificates in assistive technology, and have one (1) year of experience in providing AT services for persons with
blindness or vision impairment.
