[rehab] Blind Cane Travel Instructor Saught for Guest Appearance

Good morning everyone,

 

                Branco Broadcast is an Internet and phone conference hosted
by Robert Branco of New Bedford Massachusetts and a friend of mine from our
days at Perkins. He recently had as his guest on a past Branco Broadcast
Episode a sighted cane travel instructor from the Carol Center. New England
has yet to see its first blind cane travel instructor employed by any of the
agencies for the blind in that region of the country. Here is an opportunity
for Branco Broadcast participants to be introduced to a blind cane travel
instructor to begin changing the image and attitudes towards the blind
teaching this vital skill in New England.

                Since cane travel is a vital skill for independence who
better to teach it than those who use these techniques themselves on a daily
