We have a nurse but she's only here weekdays from 8:00 to 4:00. The Center has never been closed due to her absence.

Subject: [rehab] Enquiry regarding state operated blindness training residential facilities
To: individuals employed by state operated blindness training residential facilities
If employed by or have affiliation with a state operated residential blindness training program can you please answer the following questions?
Does your agency have a nurse on staff, and if so does your Agency require that a nurse be present in the facility at all times students are in training?
Does your agency policy dictate that in the event of a nursing staff shortage students are to return home to discontinue Training until satisfactory Staff levels of certified nurses can be restored?
Thanks
