Hello,
Western Governors university is looking to hire another
accessibility specialist, responsible for evaluating electronic information
and communication technologies for conformance with Web Content
accessibility guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA and ideal user experiences for
disabled people. Although familiarity with universal design for learning,
accessibility principles, and user experiences methodologies would be
helpful, we recognize that this is a budding industry and welcome
applicants from diverse experiences; training and education will occur!
I personally would love more disabled applicants to apply!
WGU has a strong commitment to increasing opportunity for all marginalized
students, believing at the university’s core that education is a necessary
stepping stone, and all students, no matter their background, should have
equal access.
If you do not mind moving to Salt Lake City or commuting,
come join our team!
Share this with anyone you believe may be a good fit.
