Hi Kane and others,

I ran into the same problem trying to get into Direct Employers Jobs.
They did one for the state of Indiana with Bosma Industries, but there is
no information on their website about it, so I think it is probably
closed.

I checked with Mikey from Direct Employers and learned how to get into DE
Jobs from their new website. To simplify things for all of you, the link
is below.  It contains all the Indiana and Chicagoland jobs:

At the bottom of the same page, there are four links: Veterans, Diversity,
Disability, and Apprenticeships.  The disability one is:

I am always impressed by the number of jobs in their system. Even the
smaller towns are included.  Sending this posting to Job-Listings and
Rehab listservs also.

I do not think it is possible for the casual Internet surfer to subscribe
to Direct Employers Association's job listings.  I recall having an
Indiana official of that org place my name and address on that list
manually, at the suggestion of Dick Davis, whom I knew already from BLIND,
Inc. and related NFB business.  I got onto the Direct Employers
Association Mailing List not to look for a job for myself, but mainly to
support those in the chapter of the NFB where I serve as president in
Northern Indiana.  It is not necessary, of course, for someone to
affiliate with the Federation in order to strike up a relationship with
the Direct Employers Association.

Please write me privately: kbrolin65 at gmail.com.  If I know where you live,
I might be able to get hold of someone in this association who could add
your name and address to a list where you could see individual or
aggregated job listings that are salient to the area of the USA where you
live.  The ones I get are pertinent only to the North-Central and
Northwest parts of Indiana, as well as adjacent towns in Southwestern
Michigan.
