As Product Manager within the Global Education and Literacy program, you
will be responsible for the planning, support and development of multiple
Bookshare products. This includes managing the products throughout the
Product Lifecycle: gathering and defining product requirements, working
closely with engineering and operations, and collaborating with marketing
to deliver successful products for our customers and partners. You will
drive our artificial intelligence efforts and manage the growing ecosystem
of client applications, including web, Android, iOS, and voice.
This full-time position can be conducted remotely anywhere in the United

*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*
- Define the product strategy and roadmap for assigned projects through
deep and sustained collaboration with engineering, senior program staff,
and other internal and external stakeholders
- Gather and document product requirements, user stories, functional
specifications, and business logic as needed in an Agile environment
- Work with third parties from Statement of Work and Service Level
Agreements to on-time product delivery
- Design and analyze metrics to assess product impact and communicate
opportunities for development to the organization
- Balance the engineering workload across the existing priorities, while
managing budget and timing allocations of projects
*Qualifications*

- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Demonstrated skill in gathering and interpreting user perspectives so
that requirements and design reflect real needs
- Proven track record of building relationships and effective
cross-departmental communication
- Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, leadership,
influence-management and problem-solving skills
- Mission driven with an interest in the communities we serve
- Experience managing AI, Machine Learning, and voice technology
products a plus
- Strong experience with Agile development a plus
