The APH ConnectCenter invites you to participate and network during the 2023 APH CareerConnect Transition & Employment Resource Round Up on Tuesday, May 9 from 2 to 4 pm EDT, 11 to 2 PDT. This annual event brings together experts in the field of Transition/Pre ETS from across the United States to share, learn and engage with fellow practitioners on programming and services available for blind, low vision and deafblind students and job seekers ages 14 to 24.

In the first hour of the webinar, participants can expect to hear updates from the APH ConnectCenter on CareerConnect and all of its new offerings over the past year. Later in hour one, we will hear from our leading partners on current and future programs including from Guide Dogs for the Blind (GDB), NSITE (our partners with our Job Seekers Toolkit) and from Mississippi State’s Rehabilitation & Research Training Center (RRTC) on the 4 to 24 Transition Application. In hour two, we will have time for additional Transition/Pre ETS updates from additional programs. If you are an agency representative wanting to share out a short three-to-five-minute program blast in hour two, please email Richard Rueda at rrueda at aph.org. We cannot guarantee that we will have time but will make every effort to accommodate your request.
