[Rehab] Policies vs. Regulations

Hmmm, very interesting discussion. I'm curious as to whether or not this applies to the home-services program in states which have one. Here in Illinois, for instance, an online portal was recently set up for this purpose and I'm thinking of registering just to see what's all on there. I believe one has to go through video training though in order to be eligible for this. I met my new counselor on the phone just before Christmas, and she's very friendly. My PA is too, and he has been doing a nice job with me. But there may be an issue for which I need some more assistance. It involves a thermostat, but I don't want to talk about it on here only because I'm unsure at this time. Kinda a confusing situation. But anyway, thanks for bringing this up as it does raise some questions in my mind. Take care everyone.

I agree with Dave Andrews. The other thing I would do is call the
Legislative Reference office in the state capitol and raise the issue with
them. I think state agency policies are by definition public documents. And
I find state agency people are more afraid of state officials than federal
ones.
