[Rehab] Fwd: Career Fair Job Placements

Hello Everyone,

I am sending this out to our Employment Committee members, and to those
individuals who are subscribed to our Job-Discussions and Rehab listservs.
I am asking for people who can help Debbie, the Editor of Future
Reflections, meet her story goals.

The Employment Committee does not have a database of successful job seekers
from our career fairs, but perhaps Jennifer Wenzel, our new chairperson,
would like to start one. In the meantime, I am sure many of you either meet
her qualifications or know somebody who does. I am asking my blind Facebook
friends, for example.

Please copy your responses to me so I can start compiling a list of
successful job seekers to use in the future.

Thank you so much! For this issue of Future Reflections on preparing for
employment I’d love to have stories from people who are working. How did
they prepare, how did they find their job, have they encountered any access
barriers and how did they handle them, how do they relate to coworkers and
superiors, any and all of it!
