Even the experts, according to the article don’t exactly agree with each other on what is best to do. I have for the last couple of years, been a person who subscribed to not providing my full exact home address on my résumé and advised others to do so as well not sure where I got that information from, but it fully made sense to me. so for example, on my résumé, I will say Phoenix, Arizona. Rather than every detail, including ZIP Code. And then I will add if I’m willing to relocate that note next to my area location. That advice came from Dick Davis. Many years ago, and I think it sound still. in the actual application when submitting information or even on your cover letter, you can include your exact address if you like. But on the résumé, I seem to think that it doesn’t necessarily help it to provide the exact location of your whereabouts just provides some useful geographic information for people to know in case it matters to someone.
