Carmen explained how they have a team at the national level who present the issues to the House of Representatives to ask for sponsorship.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif;color:black;background:white">Angela stated that democrats are passing a bill regarding mail-in ballots.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif;color:black;background:white">Carmen stated that when it goes to Congress, we need to make sure it passes in the Senate. Kelly asked If the lists come from the state. Carmen said it comes from national. Kelly asked about what format the list comes in. Carmen stated it came in an email. Kelly said If it is an excel file, we could sort members by zip-code to locate members in our area. Kelly asked who serves Coachella valley. Carmen said that we used to have a person, but we no longer do. Carmen said she would want to learn PDF’s. Kelly stated he can help with technology for 1 hour at a time through Braille Institute through a program called Connection Pointe. He will also do sessions for our chapter. Tippy asked If you still need a Doctors form every year. Francina stated If they have the faxed number for her doctor, she was able to get it done that way.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif;color:black;background:white">Carmen stated she wanted to get a schedule for the technology and book club. Kelly stated that he needs to investigate how much he can do regarding technology outside of work because of work policies. Carmen stated that we can redirect it or do other things. Kelly stated that someone can do the technology presentations. Paulina stated that she could present something regarding technology. Paulina said she would summarize the Presidential release.
