Also, reminded us Paulina would host technology sessions. Kelly said it could be anyone who knows something about a specific topic. Angela suggested learning Zoom. Paulina stated she can do the zoom refresher. Kelly asked for a date. Paulina suggested Thursday March 25<sup>th</sup>, 2021 at 6 PM. All agreed. Kelly asked how people are joining zoom either via PC or another device. Carmen and Paulina, and Jordan on PC. Angela, Tippy, Sylvia, Barbara, and Francina iPhone. Sylvia asked If we are going to do a session for both. Kelly explained the donation letter for the zoom account for our Chapter was sent and the deadline was March 13<sup>th</sup>. This is for signing up for classes or update information. Kelly provided the contact number 951-787-8800. Carmen stated the company is called double good. Kelly asked who would want to set that up. Paulina said she would be a chair of that committee. Carmen asked how long we would want to do it, a month, or a few days. Kelly stated we should hold it for a month because of how small our chapter is. Kelly asked for a motioned to move forward. Motioned by Tippy to move forward with getting involved with the popcorn fundraiser if we received no cost. Second by Barbra, and Jordan. The bell academy will be virtual. You receive learning skills and are paired with one child. You can contact Debby Worstman. Bell Academy starts in June three session for two weeks each. Kelly asked If they needed a certain level of braille skills when working with the children. They are asking people to apply for services. Discussed homemakers’ program, has been changed to personal goals. The homemaker the program was shut down and people stopped applying for DOR services. This is a short-term program; they give you skills regarding goals and what you need. Personal goals can be used for school, work, or something in the home. If you need technology, and If you have SSI, or SSDI you are expedited in the program. Kelly said to send to the list.
