The NFB of California Affiliate has implemented a Legislative Committee.<br>
This committee will gain knowledge of how the Legislative Process work<br>
and appreciate the work of Congress.<br>
We are asking each chapter and division to select a liaison to<br>
represent their chapter by serving on the committee and learn about<br>
the legislative process.<br>
Then the liaison will have an opportunity to share information with<br>
their chapter members on the importants of Legislation.<br>
The purpose is to get all members involve with sending emails and<br>
making phone calls to their Senators and Congressional<br>
representatives, asking them to support our legislative bills within<br>
the blind community.<br>
This will allow the liaison to enhance their public speaking with our<br>
legislators in Sacramento, as well as their Senators and Congressional<br>
Representative in Washington DC.<br>

I know that the NFBC Senior Division meets at our state convention each year.<br>
If you are interested in serving on the Legislative committee, please<br>
