Many of the shortcuts are the same in all the main Web browsers, but there are some that are specific to Firefox, so we will explain this as we go along.<br>At time of posting, we are using Firefox version 147.0.1, running on Windows 11.</span><span style='font-family:"Lato",sans-serif;color:#202020'> <o:p></o:p></span></p><div class=MsoNormal align=center style='text-align:center;line-height:150%'><span style='font-family:"Lato",sans-serif;color:#202020'><hr size=2 width="100%" align=center></span></div><h2><strong><span style='font-size:10.5pt;line-height:125%;font-family:"Verdana",sans-serif'>This Week's Shortcut:</span></strong><o:p></o:p></h2><div><p class=MsoNormal style='line-height:150%'><span style='font-size:10.5pt;line-height:150%;font-family:"Verdana",sans-serif;color:#202020'>Sometimes, when using the Web, you may need to download a file in order to access a document offline or install a new application.<br>To open downloads in Firefox, press <strong><span style='font-family:"Verdana",sans-serif'>Control + J</span></strong>. This opens a new window, called Library, and you can immediately <strong><span style='font-family:"Verdana",sans-serif'>Arrow Down </span></strong>through your Downloads and press <strong><span style='font-family:"Verdana",sans-serif'>Enter </span></strong>to open one of them. Alternatively, press <strong><span style='font-family:"Verdana",sans-serif'>Shift + F10</span></strong> on a download to get more options, such as open the Downloads folder, copy, delete, etc.<br>You can also access your History and Bookmarks from this Library dialogue by pressing <strong><span style='font-family:"Verdana",sans-serif'>Shift + Tab</span></strong> and using the <strong><span style='font-family:"Verdana",sans-serif'>Up and Down Arrows</span></strong>.<br>Press <strong><span style='font-family:"Verdana",sans-serif'>Alt + F4 </span></strong>to close the Library when finished.<br><br>Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge also use the <strong><span style='font-family:"Verdana",sans-serif'>Control + J </span></strong>shortcut for accessing the list of Downloads. However, Chrome opens the list in a new tab and Edge opens the list in a notification. In both cases, use <strong><span style='font-family:"Verdana",sans-serif'>Tab</span></strong> to get to the list and move to more options and <strong><span style='font-family:"Verdana",sans-serif'>Arrow Down</span></strong> to get to the Download file that you want.<br><br>Of course, on all PCs you can also just press the <strong><span style='font-family:"Verdana",sans-serif'>Windows key</span></strong> and type Downloads to open the list in File Explorer.<br><br>You can find these shortcuts and previous shortcuts of the week on the website in the <a href="https://us.list-manage.com/26pFAKc0LvL?e=89232c411c&c2id=6dad4b12106d943ba9b626aa26f28e3c" target="_blank"><span style='color:#2393A9'>Shortcut of the Week</span></a> section.
