Hi Everyone, let me see if I can answer some of your questions.
Bernice, try looking on Amazon for your bacon rack.
We use plain white paper towels to cover items, and we also have splatter domes.
Hth.

That reminds mme of a horrible accident my mother had. She decided to make bacon and scrambled eggs for the family for supper, so she took the package of bacon and laid the bacon out on the rack on the broiler pan like you described. When she went to take it out of the oven, the pan tilted. It either just tipped, or she accidentally banged it into the stove top or something, and the grease ran down her arm! Pam.

Many many years ago I got as a present a bacon cooker. It was a vertical heating ellament that sat on a tray. Then it had a door on each side that closed. You draped the bacon over the ellament, and the Greece dripped down. It was wonderful. Well, it has finally bit the dust. I wish I could find another one.

I cook bacon on the broiler pan in my oven, so the Greece drips down to the bottom pan. The bacon is nice and crisp. It is kind of a lot of clean up though. You would bake it at about 350 degrees.

If anybody has any info about a bacon cooker like I described, I would love it.

Bernice and the adorable LoLO.

I have a question. How do you cook bacon in the microwave. Also, does it splatter everywhere? And does it get crispy? I have always cooked mine on the stove top. Thanks so much!

Yes, I use paper towels to cover things when cooking and to absorb grease when I am cooking bacon in the microwave.
