[Small-Appliance-Cooking] Question about what is safe to be put in microwaves:

I am sure you got many replies already. but just incase mine is different. I personally like crispy bacon. I put a few layers of paper towels on a paper plate. When I lay the bacon out, I lay it out flat but then in two places I pick it up to make like a bump that I could fit my finger through. I have always done this and I think it goes back to a cooking lesson I had when I had a microwave stove combo. and I put one or two paper towels on top. I only put as many strips across that fit side by side.
When done I let sit. There is a thing for the microwave where you sort of hang them but I do not know if that gets the bacon crispy.

I have a question. How do you cook bacon in the microwave. Also, does it splatter everywhere? And does it get crispy? I have always cooked mine on the stove top. Thanks so much!

Yes, I use paper towels to cover things when cooking and to absorb grease when I am cooking bacon in the microwave.
