Well, it’s better than nothing, but thanks for the suggestion.

It sounds like you have to get rid of that microwave. It doesn’t even sound like the microwave works correctly. Pam.

Thanks. The problem is that the microwave I’m using only works when I turn off the serge protecter that it is connected to. Then I turn the serge protecter back on. At that time, the microwave works for 1 minute where then I have to perform the same steps again. I’m not sure if this is even safe to do.

I don’t think it is wise to stack different appliances on top of each other. Toaster ovens get hot so I wouldn’t recommend you use a toaster oven if it has to be put on top of a microwave oven, if space is that limited. Microwave will give you better options of cooking faster, without much heat or expense, compared with a toaster oven.

I don’t know what size your microwave oven is, but a small one should fit quight nicely. Pam.

So it should fit on top of my microwave. I know that this is a little off list, but I live in a hole-in-a-wall which is about 2 feet wide by 7 feet long.

It would fit on the top of a small dresser. In the first two places I lived, I had a one-burner hot plate and what was called a broiler oven, which is similar to a toaster oven. The only other thing I had was my electric purcolator. Pam.

How small can Toster ovens be? I live in a hole-in-the-wall. I don’t even have a stove. A totster oven would be great if I can find a place to put it.

I share with you that when I cook for myself or one other person I often bake or broil items in the toaster oven. It saves on electricity and another nice thing about using a toster oven is if you turn it off it cools down fast and then take out the item it makes it easier to remove when the temperature has dropped.

It is easier to clean also.

I take a dish that I want to use and check that it will fit into the toaster oven.

I like cooking pork chops that I put a bread coating on.

Chicken you can get four pieces into the toaster oven. Baked potato, roast, the list goes on and on.
