Well, this app for the new wifi instant pot does seem to be a problem. Kind
of disappointing, but there is one work around that I didn't know about when
I first got my new pot. You can use your amazon echo to run the new instant
pot. I don't know if there's an actual list of commands, but once you have
your instant pot connected to wifi you can go on the alexa app and enable
the instant pot skill. Then, you can say, alexa pressure for 7 minutes and
it will turn the pot on and set to high pressure cook and cook for 7 minutes
after the pot reaches pressure. The interesting thing is that I wanted to
verify that my pot was sent correctly so I called AIRA but the agent said
that it didn't really show much of anything other than preheat on the screen
because that was what was happening at that point so I couldn't doublecheck
the pressure and time. Stupidly, I went into that instantpot app and started
messing around and pressed a wrong button and stopped everything and I had
to use AIRA to fix it. Some of us apparently just can't leave well enough
alone sometimes! (grins!) Anyway, needless to say I did end up with a great
pot of chili mac and cheese when all was said and one.

Hello,
If anyone is using this pot can you come back and share what you are doing
so the rest of us can learn it as well.
One of the problems I am having is trying to get the pot working with my
phone.
It isn't the pot, it is getting all of the information in the correct places
and finding the done button.
If you don't find it fast enough it kicks you out and you have to start over
again.
I also know that the buttons on the pot are not the same as on the first pot
with the blue tooth.
I tried making spaghetti and it turned out where I had no clue where to
start the pot to get it going.
Also I couldn't get the pressure cook to start the pressure.
These are tips that would help me out.
I was told that the pressure went for 30 minutes.
Well if I want to use pressure for making potatoes for potato salad I sure
don't want it to go 30 minutes.
Thanks for any help you can give me.
I know once I can learn how to use this I will love it.
I love the idea that the cord doesn't have to stay connected to the pot, I
put it inside the pan.
Then I won't lose it.
I thought it was interesting that it would bake a cake.
I bet it would be quite moist.
I learned some of this from ira.
