You'll have to ask someone who cooks in the instant pot. I don't know.

Subject: Re: [Small-Appliance-Cooking] beef stroganoff

Thanks so much,
I have the pound of white noodles.
I also have stew meat.
I have a can of mushrooms, don't cook with fresh.
Wondering with the broth, I have the carton of it.
Wouldn't it work the same way to cook the noodles in the broth?
Or keep stiring until noodles become soft?
Just asking questions.
Thanks,
Dar

> 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
> 1 small yellow or white onion, diced
> 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt, divided
> 1 1/2 pounds boneless sirloin steak, cut into 1 1/2-inch cubes
> 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

>> Recipe Notes
>> * Salt the pasta water really well! This is your one chance to season
>> the noodles themselves and add flavor to your stroganoff, so don’t be shy.
>> * Boil the noodles according to the package instructions for al dente

>> * Start with room temperature (or warm) sour cream. Cold sour cream
