They come with a little vessel that you fill with water to put in the bottom of the unit and since you’re just using it for boiling eggs, you just fill it. Then there’s a tray-like thing that you set the eggs on and there’s a little point on the underside of the water vessel that you use to puncture each egg before you put the cover on to boil them. Then there’s just an off/off switch and when the water has boiled away the unit buzzes at you and some units even turn off, too.
