>From everything I've read, eating disorders, particularly anorexia, stem in
part from a strong need for control over some aspect of one's life, and in
part from the pressures placed on young girls to be thin. Obviously neither
of these apply to infants. If an infant has trouble feeding, it is usually
the result of something physically wrong or some issue the mother is
experiencing, either psychological or simply poor technique.
