Hi Peter,
I don't think you need to learn specific software until you actually
have a job and know what they are using. For now I think just learning
the basics of JAWS with Microsoft Office applications and the
Internet/email would be good. You could also try teaching yourself R,
but I don't think that is necessary until you actually have a job. If
you have a conceptual understanding of how to perform statistical
tests and interpret output, that is what employers will be looking
for. The software shouldn't be too hard to learn once you are on the
job.
