What specifically would I need sighted assistance with, just so I know? I do have a tutor lined up for this course, and she has some usable vision and is familiar with SPSS.

Syntax programming is not required until you reach higher level Statistics that won’t be covered in an introductory course. You may still need some sighted assistace to deal with the initial learning curve associated with importing data and exporting results. Overall, it can be done thought.
